Optellios Accepts Philadelphia SmartCEO Future 50 Award

Optellios, Inc., a developer and manufacturer of advanced, fiber-optic sensing and security systems, was awarded Philadelphia's SmartCEO’s Future 50 Award last night at Drexelbrook in Drexel Hill, PA.

The Future 50 Award recognizes 50 of the area’s fastest-growing companies, based on employee and revenue growth over the past three years.

David Smith, President and CEO of Optellios, and Greg Williams, Director of Finance at Optellios, accepted the award.

“It is a very exciting honor to represent Optellios in receiving this prestigious award. The event and the ceremony were highly-charged with much excitement and enthusiasm,” said Smith.

Williams added, “It was exciting to see Optellios profiled among so many success stories in the Philadelphia region. The energy at the event was great, but it was the dynamic collection of entrepreneurial spirit that dominated the night.”

When discussing what the award means to Optellios, Williams said, “This award validates the direction of our company and serves as a reminder that our industry is ready for a leader to emerge.” Smith added, “An award like this is a true indication that Optellios is coming of age as a growth company. Receiving a great compliment like this makes it an amazing time for Optellios.”
