Firetide Announces Australia and South Pacific Distribution Agreement

Firetide, Inc., a provider of high-performance, wireless infrastructure, mesh networks, today announced a distribution agreement with BGW Technologies. This strategic alliance enables BGW Technologies to deliver Firetide’s wireless mesh products to its Australian and South Pacific customers, addressing a growing need for reliable, high-performing, indoor and outdoor wireless infrastructures for video surveillance, industrial, utility and transportation networks.

Firetide provides high-performance, fixed,  mobile and wireless, IP network, infrastructure products that enable concurrent video, voice and data applications for government, transportation, public safety and industrial customers. These products are used to build indoor and outdoor, private, wireless infrastructures and access networks that are highly-reliable and secure.

Firetide’s infrastructure, mesh networks can operate in the 900MHz, 2.4 GHz, 4.9 GHz and 5 GHz spectrums and enable multiple network services and standard Ethernet devices to operate virtually anywhere over a high-speed, wireless infrastructure. The entire Firetide product line is currently available to BGW Technologies’ customers and includes HotPort wireless mesh nodes, HotPoint access points, the HotView Network Management Software, Mobility and WLAN Controllers, as well as a wide variety of antennas, cables, and mounting accessories.
