Integrators Profit With THRIVE Intelligence

THRIVE Intelligence, which provides advanced video security as a service, has developed a unique recurring monthly revenue model that is receiving rave reviews from integrators. With its dependable, predictable income streams, THRIVE’s compensation program reduces the need for integrators to rely on one-time, low-margin installation projects. Perhaps most appealing, integrators who sell THRIVE 360 the company’s end-to-end video surveillance solution, will receive a monthly revenue split for the life of the contract.

“THRIVE Intelligence has successfully combined leading-edge video surveillance equipment with state-of-the-art software in one user-friendly platform,” said Dean Wilson, CEO at THRIVE Intelligence. “Together with a first-of-its-kind revenue sharing model for the video monitoring industry, we have created an unbeatable, turnkey offering that not only satisfies the exploding demand for intelligent video security, but which also provides integrators with a previously-unavailable source of recurring revenue.”

It Pays Now, and Later

The THRIVE Intelligence Partner Program pairs the company’s state-of-the-art camera-to-command center surveillance solution with certified integrators. The result is a network of “THRIVE-minded” system integrators and resellers who are skilled in delivering effective, cost-efficient edge-based analytics and intelligent security to their customers.

THRIVE offers both an Authorized and a Certified partnership level. Authorized partners receive a specific discount off MSRP for THRIVE products, while Certified partners enjoy additional discounts in addition to other special benefits. Gaining Certified status requires participation in specialized online training designed to educate integrators on the technical details of the THRIVE product offering, thus enabling them to confidently and efficiently present the solutions to their customers.

A brief example illustrates the power of THRIVE’s integrator offering, and how it benefits both the end customer and the integrator.

A commercial property had an outdated monitoring system and a mini command center. The client needed to update its 137 existing analog cameras and mid-1980s intercom system, as well as to find a solution that fit three shifts of guards monitoring 96 doors and 7 parking garages.

THRIVE provided the project lead to a certified THRIVE integrator who replaced the intercom and all cameras and set up remote monitoring for cameras, doors, and gates on the slower second and third guard shifts of the day.

Total install on the project was $291,991 with materials and labor cost of $264,591, thus providing an initial gross profit of $27, 400 for the integrator. The integrator also earns a split of the monthly monitoring fee, generating a total of $1,370 per month, or $16,440 per year in recurring revenue. So, in addition to the $27,400 earned by the integrator for the installation, there is a return of $82,200 in recurring revenue over the life of the 5-year agreement, providing a total return to the integrator of $109,600.

The commercial client also walks away extremely pleased as he has not only cut his guard costs by at least 67% by reducing his guard service from three people to one, but he has also enhanced his security solution for coverage during later, more vulnerable times of the evening.
