From the View of a Firefighter

From the View of a Firefighter

Shared by dallasnews.com, and confirmed by DFWScanner via Twitter, this rare and amazing video gives viewers a first person opportunity to see the real-life risk that firefighters selflessly put themselves in to protect others. This video is said to be shot at a southeast Dallas, Texas home, and the video states that it was shot using FireCam, a helmet camera designed by firefighters.

Not only does this video demonstrate to the lay public the dangers and risks that firefighters are willing to take, but I believe that videos such as these would make great training tools for future firefighters.

I would like to extend my appreciation and gratitude to all the firefighters out there! Thank you so much for all that you do to keep us safe.
