Hot New Year, Hot New Products

In a sea of new products and upgraded technology, here is a solution that really stand out.

System Sensor also is launching a first. This is their First Combo CO/smoke detector for conventional fire and security systems.

The new i4 series is the first low-voltage, system-connected, combination smoke and carbon monoxide detection solution on the market. With the ability to integrate the i4 into conventional security and fire panels, end users can rest assured knowing they are getting a comprehensive life safety solution for homeowners to date.

The i4 series is available in 2-wire and 4-wire versions, both with photoelectric smoke and electrochemical CO sensing technologies. The required i4 Integration Module greatly simplifies installation. Since the module sits next to the panel, the system uses about 75 percent fewer wires. This translates into lower installation cost and time without sacrificing performance.

There are numerous products that we'll be talking about in the next issue of Security Products, ISC West enews. I look forward to examining more products in the coming days and sharing with you their features and advantages.
