Representative Patrick Meehan to be Keynote Speaker at SIA Government SummitThe Security Industry Association (SIA) announced today that Representative Patrick Meehan (R-PA) will be a keynote speaker at the SIA Government Summit – the premier annual public policy conference in the security industry. The summit will be held June 4-5, 2013 at the W Hotel in Washington, D.C.

Rep. Meehan represents Pennsylvania’s 7th Congressional District in the United States Congress and is currently serving his second term.  As a member of the Homeland Security Committee, he serves as Chairman of the Subcommittee on Cybersecurity, Infrastructure Protection and Security Technologies.

He also serves on the Oversight and Government Reform, Homeland Security, Transportation and Infrastructure, and House Ethics Committees.

The SIA Government Summit provides attendees with unique insights that help them better understand how policy drives business in the security industry. The exclusive nature of the setting allows one-on-one conversations with government decision makers. Registration includes breakfast and lunch both days, and the semi-formal SIA Public Policy Dinner, where SIA recognizes leading legislators and outstanding SIA volunteers.
