The HI-SCAN 6040-2is is an advanced, dual-view X-ray inspection system for automatic explosives detection. Its advanced design offers increased flexibility, a compact footprint and high throughput. HI-SCAN 6040-2is is ideally suited to meet the security requirements of government buildings, hotels and other critical infrastructure applications where bags and personal belongings are screened to detect dangerous or illegal objects that pose a threat.

The HI-SCAN series is one of Smiths Detection’s most successful X-ray inspection platforms, with tens of thousands of units installed around the world.
