Life is Grand

With ASIS 2013 officially in the books, I believe this tradeshow made a major upswing in the B-to-B business this year. It was a great show, and I would have to say that 95 percent of the exhibitors felt the same way.

My goal at tradeshows like this is to talk to people who will contribute editorial to Security Products during 2014. I am very excited at the prospects that I have lined up for next year.

Just a couple of products from the final day. FST21 has created a new paradigm by combining security and convenience. OK, so everyone at the show has a product that is easier, more convenience and unique.

SafeRise is a comprehensive identity management and control system providing motion identification for registered people, advanced visitor management and remote monitoring. It is certainly worth a second look.

Talk-A-Phone takes their security solution from the classroom to the playground with instant emergency communication, area lighting, gate access, paging and video communication.

We are all for protecting students, faculty, staff and visitors by providing peace of mind with a comprehensive security solution.

By way of invitation, Security Products is hosting its annual GovSec West Conference in Dallas, Nov. 19-20. Here is your invitation to join us for that event at the Gaylord Texan conference center.

I hope you all had a great ASIS and were able to return home safely.
