HID Global Demonstrates Citizen Centric Innovations in Government ID SolutionsHID Global, a provider of secure identity solutions, today announced it will be showcasing its government ID solutions at the International Civil Aviation Organization’s (ICAO) Ninth Symposium and Exhibition on Machine Readable Travel Documents (MRTDs), Biometrics and Border Security.  As a sponsor of this year’s symposium, Rob Haslam, vice president of Government ID Solutions with HID Global will be addressing the delegates over lunch on Thursday, October 24.  Haslam will be discussing the emerging trend toward citizen-centric electronic ID (eID) solutions.  He will draw upon HID Global’s proven experience in helping governments around the world develop secure ID programs designed to meet the unique needs of citizens including the demand for greater security, convenience and time and cost efficiencies.

ICAO’s Ninth Symposium and Exhibition on MRTDs, Biometrics and Border Security will be held October 22-24, 2013 at ICAO headquarters in Montreal, Canada.  Haslam will be presenting on October 24th at the ICAO delegate luncheon. Additional HID Global speakers include Adam Tangun, vice president of EMEA sales, Government ID Solutions and Kathy Alsbrooks, head of North America sales, Government ID Solutions. Tangun and Alsbrooks will be discussing how HID Global addresses such complex government ID programs as the U.S. Permanent Resident Card (“Green Card”) program.

HID Global will be showcasing its broad portfolio of government-to-citizen ID solutions at Booth #22 as part of the Exhibition.
