The LX is the first hybrid DVR from Speco combining both IP megapixel technology with 960H analog recording capability. The LX allows users to migrate to IP at their own pace.

The LX hybrid allows viewing of both IP and analog cameras on the same screen as well as the option to view both live and playback on the same monitor at the same time. The LX is fully customizable with per-channel scheduling as well as HDMI output for 1080p HD resolution monitors and BNC loopouts for all the analog channels.

The LX features an intuitive and simple graphical user interface for easy setup and installation and with outstanding functionality to meet the high standard of security demands today. Speco Technologies’ LX DVR features advanced analytics, such as museum search, and Digital Deterrent with 2-way audio, POS/ATM support. The unit is also Onvif and SecureGuard compatible.

The LX has a complete suite of EZ Wizards to facilitate an easy and seamless networking and installation. The EZ Setup Wizards allow an installer to open a “Wizard” to walk through simple point and click steps for a successful connection to the internet. The one click wizard guides the set up essentials of the system in a logical and easy to understand sequence. The DVR will get an IP address, DDNS name and even use UPnP to port forward the router.

  • EZ Setup: for quick system setup;
  • EZ Network: for quick set-up on a network;
  • EZ Search: Quickly search events from thumbnails;
  • EZ Copy: auto copy what you are playing onto a USB flash drive; and

The LX is available in either 8 analog/4 IP or 16 analog/ 4 IP channels and capable of having 3 HDDs of up to 9TB of storage with eSATA for extended storage, and includes a DVD drive for exporting video clips.

“Speco’s new LX DVR is perfect for those who want exceptional resolution for analog systems while easing existing systems to IP,” said Todd Keller, president of Speco Technologies. “Speco continues to drive innovation in security products aimed at deterring crime, and we are thrilled to introduce this remarkably-enhanced DVR with built in Digital Deterrent and remote upgrade capability.”
