Code Blue and Vigitron Announce Partnership

Code Blue Corporation, a manufacturer of emergency communication solutions, and Vigitron, Inc., a manufacturer of video transmission solutions for both IP and analog security systems, have announced a strategic partnership to improve the networking of emergency communication systems.

Code Blue and Vigitron previously have teamed up on specific projects, but now all customers can benefit from a stronger relationship. The partnership began when Vigitron created a new Power over Ethernet Splitter that allowed Code Blue Help Points to be connected and powered by a Cat5 Cable or other PoE sourcing equipment to eliminate the cost of running electrical facilities to blue light phones. The PoE splitter is IEEE 802.3 af compliant, which provides power to emergency phones and faceplate or beacon/strobe lights.

From there, Vigitron identified a select set of products that Code Blue could offer as an additional value for customers looking to build a Code Blue network via existing copper or Ethernet infrastructure.

“Finding companies that share our vision for durability and quality is difficult, but we are proud to strengthen our relationship with Vigitron through this partnership,” Code Blue Chief Operating Officer David Cook said.

“We are excited to partner with Code Blue,” Vigitron Vice President of Business Development Neil Heller said. “Our products are uniquely positioned to provide highly reliable power, meeting the various installations required by Code Blue.”

Snap One has announced its popular Luma x20 family of surveillance products now offers even greater security and privacy for home and business owners across the globe by giving them full control over integrators’ system access to view live and recorded video. According to Snap One Product Manager Derek Webb, the new “customer handoff” feature provides enhanced user control after initial installation, allowing the owners to have total privacy while also making it easy to reinstate integrator access when maintenance or assistance is required. This new feature is now available to all Luma x20 users globally. “The Luma x20 family of surveillance solutions provides excellent image and audio capture, and with the new customer handoff feature, it now offers absolute privacy for camera feeds and recordings,” Webb said. “With notifications and integrator access controlled through the powerful OvrC remote system management platform, it’s easy for integrators to give their clients full control of their footage and then to get temporary access from the client for any troubleshooting needs.”
