LILIN Merges the Power of 360 Degree Video Surveillance with the Affordability of an Analog Dome Camera

LILIN North America has combined the cost-effectiveness of analog cameras with the powerful effectiveness of 360° panoramic video surveillance in the new CMD2422 series HD two-megapixel sensor dome camera for both indoor and outdoor applications.

Providing a sphere of 360° coverage in 1600 x 1200 pixel HD resolution, the camera will accurately monitor a scene up to 4,000 square-feet resulting in 4 independent views from a single camera providing a reduced camera count, less cabling, and fewer people needed to administer the cameras. That means llower cost-of-ownership without compromising situational awareness.

Each of the camera's four D1 resolution channels are independently operated and their video is corrected or "dewarped" to avoid the fisheye distortion common in other, lower quality panoramic cameras. Also, in the event of a criminal act, the CMD2422 series makes more video data available for post-incident analysis. This new approach to 360° analog full HD video monitoring means that no mechanical PTZ (pan, tilt, zoom) motor is needed in the CMD2422 series to capture the full scene, further enhancing its ease of use and installation.

Other winning features of the camera include an IR cut filter for true day and night imaging, RS-485 control interface, IP66 outdoor rating, and on-screen display setup for faster installation.

Choose the model that best fits your installation environment. CMD2422S provides 4 BNC video outputs at the camera while CMD2422SC provides a single RJ45 output for use with up to a 300ft Cat5e cable run to the included video decoder that restores the 4 independent BNC video connections at the end of the cable run for easy connection to the DVR using a single home-run cabling approach. Optional PIH-931D or other Pelco D joystick controller adds easy PT scanning.
