Policewoman Shot in Paris Following Attacks

A fellow police officer was killed Thursday morning, just a day after violent attacks in Paris left 12 dead. Authorities are still on the hunt for gunmen who launched the attack on Charlie Hebdo, a satirical magazine.

The suspects are Said Kouachi and his brother Cherif. Said was convicted on terror-related charges in 2008 for recruiting fighters for the insurgency in Iraq during U.S.-led military operations. The duo reportedly robbed a gas station in northern France.

A female police officer was shot to death while investigating a car accident, but it was not immediately clear if the shooting is related to Wednesday’s attacks.
