MA Series Speakers in Black

When most installers think of Speco Technologies, the iconic MA series of speakers (SP5MAT and SP6MAT) likely come to mind. It’s hard to fiddle with perfection, but we did just that in a subtle yet very useful way.

This series is now available in the traditional off-white and in a brand-new black version. Not only are the new speakers beautiful to look at, but they have the same great sound as their counterparts, and will save time and mess for installations in dark ceiling applications by eliminating the need for painting.

Speco Technologies’ Multi-Application (MA) Series was designed to make the contractors work as easy and time-efficient as possible. The all-in-one unit comes pre-assembled with an ABS backcan and a mounted transformer. It features a quick-flip 25 or 70 Volt selector switch and easy select transformer wattage dial.

The choice of 8 or 9 individual wattage tap settings covers a complete range of installations. The MA Series is the ideal, all-purpose value speaker covering a wide range of commercial sound applications. Plus, the speaker also has an 8 Ohms setting for residential applications. Now available in brand-new black versions; just put a “B” at the end of the part number to order (SP5MATB 5.25” speaker and SP6MATB 6.5” speaker).
