Interlogix Showcases Intelligent Home and Small Business Solutions at ISC West

Interlogix is highlighting products that make home and small business security stronger and more convenient at ISC West, April 15-17, booth No. 18019, in Las Vegas. On display are the Interlogix ZeroWire self-contained, wireless security and lifestyle enhancement hub, the Advisor One touch screen panel, and the new ITI wireless siren. Interlogix is part of UTC Building & Industrial Systems, a unit of United Technologies Corp.

The ZeroWire system features a built-in Wi-Fi radio and Web server for the greatest versatility in placement, offering fast installation and robust control options. It supports a variety of devices to heighten security and enhance the connected experience. The system can be controlled directly through the keypad and remotely using the Interlogix UltraSyncTM mobile application for iOS and Android. ZeroWire provides integrated support for IP cameras, including the ability to view live video and replay captured alarm or action-triggered video. The system also contains a Z-Wave radio, which enables users to control Z-Wave connected lights, thermostats and locks.

Other ZeroWire system features include:

  • Support for up to 64 security and life safety sensors — door/window, glass break and environmental sensors; motion, smoke and carbon monoxide detectors
  • Support for up to 20 key fobs that can be used for locally arming and disarming the panel, turning on or off a Z-Wave-enabled light, or activating the panic feature from a compact, remote device

"The ZeroWire system, with its advanced cloud features and user-friendly operation, is an ideal choice for those demanding a complete, cost-effective solution for both security and interactive control," said Paul Van der Zanden, general manager, global intrusion and alarm monitoring solutions, Interlogix.

Interlogix is also showcasing new lifestyle capabilities for its AdvisorOne system. AdvisorOne is a self-contained, 7-inch color touch screen panel that features advanced life-safety functions and now offers local and remote control of door locks, lights, thermostats and electric appliances via the Z-Wave protocol. Other built-in lifestyle applications include real-time news, traffic and weather information. The panel can also serve as a digital photo display.

Core security management features continue to be offered by AdvisorOne through wired and wireless sensors covering up to 100 zones. Additionally, the system provides multi-language support, one-touch buttons to call emergency responders, and two-way communication for quick action during emergency events. Video from IP security cameras can also be viewed on the panel.

"Interlogix has responded to customer demand to deliver a range of lifestyle features to AdvisorOne's advanced technology," said Van der Zanden. "The system now provides an ideal blend of security, safety and lifestyle-enhancing features."

Also new from Interlogix is the ITI wireless siren that provides audible notification of alarm system events in a location separate from the alarm panel. This one-piece solution requires no additional panel hardware or software modifications, and is compatible with Interlogix Simon® XT and Simon XTi platforms.

The siren contains a multi-colored LED indicator showing the unit's status and an optional chime setting that provides an audible notification when doors and windows are opened. The wireless siren is AC-powered and equipped with a battery to provide 24-hour backup power during a power outage. Up to four sirens can be added per Simon XT or Simon XTi system. ZeroWire and AdvisorOne are available now through authorized Interlogix channel partners. The wireless siren will be available early summer.
