Security Breach at Manchester Airport under Investigation

A planeload of passengers were able to enter the UK without having their passports checked

Mobile phone footage captured passengers walking through Manchester airport’s seemingly unstaffed passport control, according to a report.

An investigation is under way into how the passengers were apparently able to enter the UK without having their passports checked. The incident happened early on Saturday morning after the delayed arrival of a Ryanair flight from Madrid.

Manchester Airport and the Home Office said they were examining the details of the alleged security breach.
