Halo Smart Labs Launches Halo WX, a Smoke Alarm with Patented "Imminent Danger" Alerts
Halo and Halo WX are available from Halo Smart Labs beginning today, May 13. Halo is an industry-first combination of sensor technology for flash fires, smoldering fires and carbon monoxide in a single device. It has been designed to offer better protection than any other smoke alarm at a price that is affordable to a majority of homeowners. Halo will be available beginning at $60.
Halo WX is the only smoke alarm to combine all of the features and benefits of Halo with customizable natural disaster alerts to create the most comprehensive alert system for hazards in and around a home. With Halo Smart Labs’ patented “Imminent Danger” feature, users can choose to set the device to alert them to other threats that are important to them and their family. Imminent Danger alerts include floods, tornadoes, wildfires, tsunamis, hurricanes and nuclear emergencies.
During an emergency, power outages are common and cell phones often don’t work. Halo WX is hardwired directly into a home’s power source and has a battery back-up, so that the home is capable of receiving emergency messaging up to 7 days following a loss of power. These emergency messages include evacuation routes, shelter and safe drinking water locations.
