AMAG Technology Delivers Symmetry EN-1DBC+ Single Door Controller to Market

To meet market and customer demand, AMAG Technology is proud to announce the release of the Symmetry EN-1DBC+ Single Door Controller. The IT centric edge-network controller offers advanced functionality, reliability and cost effectiveness in the deployment of a Symmetry access control system. AMAG Technology is a security management solution provider that specializes in, end-to-end access control, IP video and intrusion management solutions for the commercial and government markets.

“Customers will find the plug and play installation is installed in no time, which saves money,” said AMAG Technology, vice president of products, David Ella. “The Symmetry EN-1DBC+ can grow with you and support two doors if needed, offering another easy to expand and affordable option for organizations, who need to expand their Symmetry access control system.”

Powered locally or through the network, the Symmetry EN-1DBC+ Controller uses Power over Ethernet+, which supports 1500mA, or ample power to support strong magnetic locks and a card reader. The Symmetry EN-1DBC+ supports AMAG’s Javelin card reader series and wiegand card readers using the more secure MCLP protocol.

The Symmetry EN-1DBC+ comes with two additional digital inputs and one relay output to control other security devices.  It expands into a two door controller with the addition of an expansion reader module, which also contains an additional two inputs and one output for added flexibility. 

The single door controller is compatible with Symmetry Business, Symmetry Professional, Symmetry Enterprise and Symmetry Homeland Security Edition v8.0.2.
