A Special Thank You

“Just wanted to take this time to thank you all very much for your support at the First Annual Security Softball Game! This is another great chapter in Mission 500’s brief history, and another great industry story of many coming together, creating a sense of community and camaraderie, all to support a worthy cause.

“We were able to raise just under $75,000 for children living in poverty in the United States - thanks to you! Leveraging this with other corporate donations, a gift that would normally help one child will now help twelve! The Security Industry Softball game donations will now supply nearly $900,000 worth of items like school supplies, warm clothing, soap, shampoo, books, and diapers to children here at home in the US.

“We also had an awesome game! The Protection Pirates defeated The Security Sluggers, 12-8. Everyone played their hearts out! 200 children in the South Bronx also received school supplies for the new school year, thanks to the help of game attendees, volunteers, and players. This event would not have been successful without your generosity and we deeply appreciate your support.

“Looking forward to meeting a few of you in person at ASIS 2015! We will be located at Booth #487.”

- From George and the Mission 500 team of volunteers
