Tri-Ed President Raising Money for Movember

Pat Comunale will grow out a mustache to raise awareness

Tri-Ed President and CEO Pat Comunale is growing a moustache—for charity. The act of growing out one’s facial hair has become commonplace in November, otherwise known as Movember, and Comunale hopes to raise awareness and funds for the Movember Foundation.

The Movember Foundation has raised $650 million since 2003, focusing on prostate cancer, testicular cancer, poor mental health and physical inactivity. Tri-Ed has taken a personal pledge to support the cause in order to honor colleague and friend Bill Brown, who lost a battle with cancer in August.

"I'm very proud to take on this challenge," Comunale says. "The Movember Foundation brings leading experts together from around the world to collaborate on solutions that will fundamentally change the way men's health issues are treated and supported. I hope that by making this November my hairiest month, we can all raise funds together for a great cause and honor Bill Brown's memory in the process."

Snap One has announced its popular Luma x20 family of surveillance products now offers even greater security and privacy for home and business owners across the globe by giving them full control over integrators’ system access to view live and recorded video. According to Snap One Product Manager Derek Webb, the new “customer handoff” feature provides enhanced user control after initial installation, allowing the owners to have total privacy while also making it easy to reinstate integrator access when maintenance or assistance is required. This new feature is now available to all Luma x20 users globally. “The Luma x20 family of surveillance solutions provides excellent image and audio capture, and with the new customer handoff feature, it now offers absolute privacy for camera feeds and recordings,” Webb said. “With notifications and integrator access controlled through the powerful OvrC remote system management platform, it’s easy for integrators to give their clients full control of their footage and then to get temporary access from the client for any troubleshooting needs.”
