University of Houston to End Ties with Security Company after Fan Assault

The University of Houston has cut ties with Contemporary Services Corporation after employees were caught on video tackling and punching students after a football game.

"This is not the kind of thing I want," said University President Renu Khator. "It's our university. It's our students. And nobody has the right to treat our students in this manner."

One guard working the game said that students were not supposed to be on the field, and that was their number one priority.

"It's disgusting but it's not surprising. I think there's this very cavalier attitude among the employees that they feel themselves to be above the law," said attorney Joe Melugin.
