Jeff Smith Promoted, Erik Beck Hired at Protection 1

Jeff Smith has been promoted to District Manager of the DC Metro Area. Smith joined Protection 1 three years ago during the Vintage acquisition and has over 29 years of leadership experience. Prior to Protection 1, Smith developed the commercial division for Vintage Security and increased the customer base from 0 to over 2,000 customers. During his time at Protection 1, he has significantly grown the customer base while serving as the DC Metro’s commercial sales manager.

Erik Beck has been hired as the new General Manager for the Denver area. Beck has over 10 years of industry experience, previously a manager for Pinnacle and Sound Security, where his sales team produced over 1,200 new accounts in a four-month time frame. Beck also founded his own security company, BEX Security, where he gained extensive knowledge on the operations side of the business.
