OnSSI Certifies Ocularis 5 VMS with AMAG Technology's Symmetry Access Control System

AMAG Technology, an integrated security provider of access control, video management and identity management solutions, is proud to announce that On-Net Surveillance Systems, Inc. (OnSSI) is a certified member of AMAG’s Symmetry™ Preferred Partner Program. As a certified partner, OnSSI’s Ocularis 5 Video Management Software integrates with AMAG’s latest Symmetry V8 Access Control System.   AMAG Technology and OnSSI cooperatively tested and certified this integration.

“The integration provides our customers with more diversity when it comes to choosing a video management system for their security needs,” said AMAG Technology, Vice President of Product Marketing, Dave Ella.  “Users can view Ocularis video via the Symmetry Virtual Matrix and better manage security overall.”

“The correlation of video and access control provides users with an effective and intelligent solution that improves overall security and heightens situational awareness,” said OnSSI VP of Sales and Marketing, Ken LaMarca.

The integration allows Ocularis video to be displayed within the Symmetry Security Management System as well as having Symmetry alarms displayed in Ocularis.

Features and benefits of the integration include the ability to view live Ocularis video in the Symmetry Virtual Matrix, full video playback availability at all Symmetry client PCs and capability to add Ocularis cameras to Symmetry graphics. The integration also allows customers to display and action Ocularis alarms in Symmetry, as well as transfer Symmetry alarms to Ocularis for video triggers when using the Symmetry XML Open Integrations Module.

Ocularis 5 is OnSSI’s innovative and cost effective open platform Video Management Software (VMS) designed to enhance security while simplifying the daily workload. Ocularis can scale up to accommodate an infinite number of cameras to match a growing system’s needs. Ocularis lets users record both analog video and video from integrated IP network cameras.
