ISC West First Timer

Well, I finally made it to Vegas for my first ISC West experience. To say I was overwhelmed would be an understatement. Walking into the exhibit halls, there are so many booths, and large and amazing displays that it took a more than a few minutes to catch my breath and get down to business.

With my exhibitor map in hand, I navigated my way through numerous aisles until I reached the booth for Altronix. This was the first company I had the pleasure of speaking with at ISC West. Kirby Han, art director for the company, was kind enough to speak with me about some new products and features the company unveiled today. Just a few minutes into our chat, I could tell Kirby was very knowledgeable and passionate about each of their products.

Their Trove line of access control enclosures is brand new, and very impressive to say the least. The Trove enclosures integrate Altronix power with access controls and accessories. They feature removable backplanes for easy configuration and pre-testing before any installations, reducing times and installation costs. You can check out all the Trove products and more at www.altronix.com.

ISC West has been an amazing experience, and I can't wait to see what next year brings.

Snap One has announced its popular Luma x20 family of surveillance products now offers even greater security and privacy for home and business owners across the globe by giving them full control over integrators’ system access to view live and recorded video. According to Snap One Product Manager Derek Webb, the new “customer handoff” feature provides enhanced user control after initial installation, allowing the owners to have total privacy while also making it easy to reinstate integrator access when maintenance or assistance is required. This new feature is now available to all Luma x20 users globally. “The Luma x20 family of surveillance solutions provides excellent image and audio capture, and with the new customer handoff feature, it now offers absolute privacy for camera feeds and recordings,” Webb said. “With notifications and integrator access controlled through the powerful OvrC remote system management platform, it’s easy for integrators to give their clients full control of their footage and then to get temporary access from the client for any troubleshooting needs.”
