From new geofencing features for home security systems to technology that turns smartphones into virtual access credentials, Lenel and Interlogix continue to deliver innovative and convenient solutions to meet or exceed consumers' evolving security requirements. Lenel and Interlogix, both part of UTC Climate, Controls & Security, a unit of United Technologies Corp., are showcasing their comprehensive, integrated offerings at the International Security Conference & Exposition (ISC West) in Las Vegas.

Among the latest innovations in residential technologies is the Interlogix UltraSync SmartHome system, which provides affordable and convenient smart security and home automation for modern families. The system's new geofencing feature allows the system to automatically turn on lights and unlock doors when a family member arrives home. It's also fully compatible with the Carrier Côr™ thermostat, providing remote control of heating, ventilating, and air conditioning systems for improved home comfort and reduced energy usage.

Ross McKay, Lenel's global product management leader, said the next generation of OnGuard, Lenel's industry-leading integrated enterprise security platform, is providing enhanced web and mobile capabilities with new OnGuard modules.

New features include OnGuard Cardholder Self Service, which simplifies management of access requests; OnGuard Visitor Self Service, offering a simple, convenient solution for visitor management; and OnGuard WATCH, which transforms and visualizes system data into actionable information from a single, easy-to-digest dashboard. 

"The recent integration of Supra's proven TRACcess eKey technology with OnGuard further expands our capabilities for remote and dispersed locations. This technology turns smartphones into virtual access credentials said McKay. "This also provides a unique security advantage where credentials automatically expire if not periodically refreshed."

The company's commercial solutions meet the demands of small- to mid-size businesses – addressing a company's immediate security goals and providing affordable solutions for a smart security investment. These include products and services that provide seamless integration with a number of UTC brands for intrusion, access control and video surveillance capabilities for a wide variety of applications.

Customers looking for a web-based, multi-building solution can see Interlogix TruPortal, an IP appliance-based access control system that offers mobile device apps for remote management, video surveillance and mustering. For video only solutions, the TruVision Navigator 6 video management system offers license-free software that is compatible with TruVision recorders and offers many updated video management features.
