High Resolution, Data Storage, Easy to Use/Install – It's All Here at ISC West

Walking through the many, many aisle of company booths, showing their newest and most innovative products, it's hard not to stop and check out the latest offerings that every single company has to offer. On a short break before a booth interview, I had a chance to speak with a few attendees and asked them what they were looking for at ISC West. All of them said powerful and easy to install surveillance systems with high resolution and lots of storage. Well, Hanwha Techwin America hit all of those nails right on the head.

On the first day of the show, amongst all the hectic schedules and packed booths, I got to speak one-on-one with Tom Cook, VP Sales North America at Hanwha Techwin. He was enthusiastic, not only about their recent name change, but also about all of the amazing new products they had on display.

Perhaps the most impressive of the new Hanwha Techwin America products is the WiseNet 4K Surveillance Cameras. They are now available with H.265 compression and 120dB Wide Dynamic Range (WDR). I was able to check out their resolution compared to previous versions and other cameras – the difference was amazing. The image and video quality was nothing short of astounding. Plus, with the H.265 compression, bandwidth and storage requirements are now a fraction of what they once were.

It's one thing to hear what security products can do, that it's quite another to witness it firsthand. These new cameras definitely left an impression.
