Series of Bombs Rock Thailand

Five provinces in Thailand have been hit by eleven bombings in less than a day killing at least four and injuring 30 more.

Thai police have no confirmed if the blasts are connected and do not believe them to be related to international terrorism.

"These incidents are different from the usual terrorism acts, they are more local so orange on certain locations and providences," Deputy Police Spokesperson Maj. Gen. Piyapan Pingmuang said during a news conference.

The bombings come just days before the one year anniversary of the Erawan Shrine bombing that killed 20 people, and five days after the country voted on a new constitution.
