IDIS America Welcomes New Regional Sales Manager and Inside Sales Hires

The hiring of Douglas Macias and Sabrina Ramirez continues the 2016 growth of the video surveillance powerhouse's sales capabilities

IDIS has announced the hiring of Douglas Macias as the newest IDIS America Regional Sales Manager, as well as the addition of Sabrina Ramirez as the IDIS America Sales Operations Specialist. Macias and Ramirez are the latest additions of many in 2016 to the global surveillance leader’s continued maturation of its sales capacity in the Americas, continuing IDIS America’s trend of sustained growth since the debut of its brand business in the American video surveillance market in 2015.

A veteran of the electronic security industry, Macias has over ten years of experience in video surveillance sales, enterprise project management, and business development. He brings with him a background of relationship building and project management across multiple key surveillance vertical markets, including a variety of successful installations throughout the banking, healthcare, transportation, education, and government sectors. Macias will represent and manage all IDIS accounts in the Southeast region of the United States and will be based out of Weston, Florida.

The latest addition to the expanding IDIS America sales team, Ramirez has a broad and well-rounded background with experience in account management, customer relations, sales coordination, and quality control. As the IDIS America Sales Operations Specialist, Ramirez will provide direct support to the entire IDIS America sales team, managing relationships with integrators and end users, performing lead follow-ups, and coordinating support for IDIS America’s Regional Sales Managers across the country. She will be based out of the IDIS America headquarters in Coppell, Texas.

Both Macias and Ramirez join a sales team led by Senior Director Keith Drummond, who noted, “2016 has been a productive first full year of operations for IDIS America, reflected in the continued growth and evolution of our sales and support team since our 2015 launch at ISC West in Las Vegas. We are very excited to welcome Douglas and Sabrina to our team, and we are equally confident their experience and passion will prove a valuable addition for our internal team and customers alike.”
