Westinghouse Security Adds Starlight Color Camera Series to Lineup

Westinghouse Security announces the addition of the Starlight color camera series to their product lineup. Available in a turret or bullet model, these cameras capture high resolution color video surveillance day or night. The 1080P cameras provide superior detail and clarity, making them not only ideal for home security but for business surveillance. From convenience stores, garden centers, and drug stores to banks and jewelry stores, Starlight cameras offer an affordable, dependable solution that helps keep people and property more safe, more secure.

Both the Starlight bullet and turret cameras are available as either a 4-in-1 that use existing coaxial cables and work with HDTVI, HDCVI, AHD, and CVBS technologies or IP version. With a 3.6mm F1.2 starlight lens, these cameras capture images up to nearly 1,000 feet from a fixed position. In addition, the strong waterproof housing is rated IP66, providing a high level of protection against particles and water. And, with a value-priced MSRP, Westinghouse Security Starlight cameras offer an affordable path to surveillance without sacrificing quality or dependability.

“In addition to color being more aesthetically pleasing, a full-color output can be critical when identifying key elements of a perpetrator or situation,” says Brian Moses, chief sales officer, Westinghouse Security. “If someone needed to identify a person and provide details such as the color of the jacket he/she was wearing or the color of the car that drove away, Starlight cameras would be able to provide that level of detail.” Moses went on to say, “Some color cameras are not suited for low light environments, but Starlight cameras excel at providing exceptional color night vision, which is key to this type of camera system."
