ISC West attendees, meet the new Pelco. The company is taking strides to re-establish its position as a global leader in surveillance and security, with new technologies, integrations and quality advancements along with significant support initiatives to provide value and meaningful innovation to the security industry community.

“We have been making changes across the entire organization for the last couple of years, from technology developments to new sales, support and operations programming,” said Diane Feliciano, VP, Global Marketing, Pelco by Schneider Electric. “Our focus today is on delivering the industry’s best comprehensive security solutions, from video surveillance cameras with advanced analytics to video management systems. We have also launched a new resource website, securityinsights.pelco.com, as part of our commitment to provide all security industry professionals with the support they need, when they need it. We’ve got it all covered.”

Pelco is going to market with renewed strength and a new theme, “moving ahead – by your side” to reflect their commitment along with the focus and intensity the company has demonstrated to fulfill that promise. At ISC West Pelco is showcasing several new systems solutions and products, some developed organically and some as the result of integrations with their technology partners. These include:

The latest release of Pelco’s powerful VideoXpert Video Management System (VMS), dramatically improves centralized control and management of integrated surveillance and security solutions on a single platform. Designed to deliver control with confidence, VideoXpert incorporates the latest advancements in system navigation to ensure a superior user experience and ease of operation for any size deployment, along with numerous integrations which allow the powerful management and control platform to be highly customized to meet users’ specific needs. Other enhancements include an expansion of the VideoXpert platform that delivers added value to the market by providing solutions for applications with fewer than 100 cameras. Visitors to ISC West will get a technology preview of this new platform.

Sarix Enhanced IP Cameras, with the best in low-light performance and bandwidth utilization via exclusive SureVision 3.0 and Smart Compression Technologies. SureVision 3.0 technology delivers exceptional Wide Dynamic Range (WDR) performance for the most challenging lighting environments. Sarix Enhanced IP Cameras also feature preloaded analytics on every model, and are compatible with Pelco VMS as well as third-party VMS partners that support Pelco’s open API.

Engineered to survive, ExSite Enhanced Explosion-Proof Cameras feature the best in HD surveillance performance for the most hazardous locations and applications. ExSite Enhanced Explosion-Proof Cameras’ robotically welded water- and corrosion-resistant stainless steel housing meets the tough NEMA Type 4X standard for use in extreme environments such as oil and gas facilities, chemical plants, manufacturing and more. Its unique patent-pending direct drive pan-tilt system is devoid of belts, gears or pulleys to eliminate stray electrical discharge while providing the highest levels of physical integrity.

Optera Panoramic Multi-Sensor Cameras provide completely stitched, seamless and blended 360°, 270° and 180° panoramic views with electronic PTZ capability across the entire panoramic image for superior wide area surveillance and forensic scene analysis. Featuring Pelco’s exclusive SureVision 3.0 technology, Optera Panoramic Multi-Sensor Cameras capture superior images in difficult lighting conditions where highly contrasted lighting sources exist within the same scene. Optera Multi-Sensor Cameras also feature Smart Compression technology, which reduces bitrate usage, resulting in up to 70% savings on storage.

“We look forward to greeting the industry as the new Pelco at ISC West,” said Feliciano. “We are excited to share our product and technology enhancements, new integrations and new solutions that bring meaningful innovation to the market.”
