Continental's field training courses are generally 2 days, and are offered throughout the US on a regular basis. The customizable classes are offered to all Continental dealer/integrators, A/Es and sponsored end-users.

To register for a training, or see the new classes added regularly, including webinars and prerecorded sessions, the full schedule, with more detail and fees, is now available online at http://www.continentalaccess.com/seminars. Also new for 2018, Continental training classes will be led by award-winning National Trainer, John Wood. John comes to Continental Access with over 25 years’ experience in security training, business development, direct sales and regional sales management. He has delivered over 1000 trainings and received a Best New Product award at ISC West 2016 for “Hands on Training” products.

A typical Continental training class is hand-on, covering Continental’s new ultra-scalable Enterprise Class CA4K Security Management Platform, integrating access control, video, alarms & wireless locking, featuring an all-new look, intuitive UI, infinite integration & distributed database options; and cover implementing and deploying the CA4K Platform’s wide range of integration options, including a wide array of partners from video to biometrics to visitor-and human resource-packages, plus Continental’s new Enhanced Open API for 3rd Party Integrations. Training classes also highlight new labor-saving hardware, such as their new uniVerse™ CICP2100 POE Single-Door Controller - Power over Ethernet (POE), that fits in a double-gang electrical box, for easy deployment, controlling up to 2 readers or keypad and/or electric strike on adjacent door - a 40% cost savings per door.

Snap One has announced its popular Luma x20 family of surveillance products now offers even greater security and privacy for home and business owners across the globe by giving them full control over integrators’ system access to view live and recorded video. According to Snap One Product Manager Derek Webb, the new “customer handoff” feature provides enhanced user control after initial installation, allowing the owners to have total privacy while also making it easy to reinstate integrator access when maintenance or assistance is required. This new feature is now available to all Luma x20 users globally. “The Luma x20 family of surveillance solutions provides excellent image and audio capture, and with the new customer handoff feature, it now offers absolute privacy for camera feeds and recordings,” Webb said. “With notifications and integrator access controlled through the powerful OvrC remote system management platform, it’s easy for integrators to give their clients full control of their footage and then to get temporary access from the client for any troubleshooting needs.”
