Ready to Attend GSX 2019

GSX 2019 will be held in Chicago from Sept. 9-12. It will feature more than 300 security courses and tons of exhibitors.

For the first time ever, I will be visiting the windy city to partake in my first GSX event from Sept. 9-12.

I am excited to navigate the city but also the exhibit hall, which I hear will feature many exciting products and interactive displays from security companies around the country.

With so many exhibitors and more than 300 security courses at the conference, it may be a little overwhelming for my first time.

Luckily, I noticed that GSX has launched an app that can help me find my way around the expo. It also gives me a complete list of sessions, descriptions and speaker information. Most importantly, it will give me real-time event updates so I can stay in the know. The app can be downloaded in the App Store if you have an iPhone or in Google Play if you have an Android. It will be listed as Global Security Exchange.

Also, while you are on your phone using the app, be sure to follow our Twitter account for our coverage and search the hashtag #GSX19 for more information about the show.

I cannot wait to network with all of you!

Hexagon’s Geosystems presents a portable version of its Accur8vision detection system. A rugged all-in-one solution, the A8V MIND (Mobile Intrusion Detection) is designed to provide flexible protection of critical outdoor infrastructure and objects. Hexagon’s Accur8vision is a volumetric detection system that employs LiDAR technology to safeguard entire areas. Person detection is carried out within a radius of 80 meters from this device. Connected remotely via a portable computer device, it enables remote surveillance and does not depend on security staff patrolling the area.
