PSA and USAV Partner with Latin Press and ConsorcioTec for Expanded Network in Latin America

PSA, the world’s largest consortium of professional systems integrators, today announced a new partnership with ConsorcioTec, part of Latin Press, for PSA and USAV. ConsorcioTec is the first pan-regional buyers consortium for local low-voltage integrators specializing in Electronic Security, DataCom Networks, Custom Electronics, Building Automation & Controls, Systems Integrations, and Multimedia Installations.

“Our partnership with Latin Press and ConsorcioTec will help PSA and USAV reach more systems integrators in Latin America, both in security and AV,” said Bill Bozeman, CEO of PSA. “As we look to increase our international footprint, growth in Latin America is a top priority. The excellent reputation of ConsorcioTec and its partners made this decision an easy one.”

ConsorcioTec will help PSA and USAV expand the brands to low-voltage integrators in Latin America. Likewise, the collaboration will bring the many benefits of the PSA and USAV networks to ConsorcioTec’s vendor and integrator partners. These benefits include group purchasing, education, networking, marketing and more.

“We have been working on this agreement for a while now,” said Max Jaramillo, Chief Integrator Advocate of ConsorcioTec. “It permits us to strengthen ties with two recognized entities in the field of Group Purchasing Organizations (GPOs), learn from them and finally help each other in the development of the industry. I am confident that the agreement will serve to drive integrator sales in Latin America.”
