Dunbar Security Solutions Acquires Manned Security Assets from Trust Security Services Inc.

Dunbar Security Solutions has finalized a deal to acquire assets from Trust Security Services, Inc. to provide manned security services in Washington, D.C.

With the acquisition, Dunbar adds new security officers and will assume certain contracts with two former Trust customers located in Washington, D.C. The new customers and employees will be managed out of the Dunbar DC Metro branch office in Greenbelt, MD., which opened in 2019 to serve the company’s growing customer base across the greater D.C. region and Virginia.

“When we opened the DC Metro branch of Dunbar last year, we made a commitment to expand our presence in the greater Washington region, and we are proud to announce this acquisition as our next step in this effort,” said Andrew Maggio, COO, Dunbar Security Solutions. “This deal not only allows us to plant a flag in D.C., but marks our entry into the acquisition market, which combined with our robust organic sales structure, has us in great position for future growth.

“For generations, Dunbar has proudly been one of the foremost security providers in the Mid-Atlantic, and we are currently in search of value to further our growth,” said Kevin Dunbar, president and CEO, Dunbar Security Solutions. “This acquisition significantly impacts our team’s ability, both operationally and financially, to pursue more aggressive expansion throughout the Mid-Atlantic region.”
