Antibacterial Clear coating combats SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus (COVID-19) and can reduce bacterial growth by 99.96%

Codelocks Inc. announces an ISO-certified photocatalytic coating which, when applied to Codelocks’ products, offers enhanced protection against viruses, bacteria, germs, volatile organic compounds (VOCs) and other environmental toxins.

Clean by Codelocks is a clear, durable coating that uses a process called photocatalytic oxidation, allowing for the coating to react to light and convert harmful bacteria and germs into a non-toxic compound, resulting in a clean and hygienic surface. The coating is resistant to chemical cleaners and provides enhanced, active protection against bacteria.

“With the new year on the horizon, many offices, schools and hotels are planning how they can reopen safely,” said Matt Welty, vice president, Americas at Codelocks. “By offering this antibacterial coating that has proven capable of eliminating COVID-19 in minutes, leaders and managers of these high-traffic facilities can keep their buildings safe.
