Shooting at Tennessee Kroger Leaves 2 Dead, Including Gunman

Two are dead, including the gunman, after a shooting at a Collierville, Tennessee Kroger on Thursday. That’s according to the Memphis Commercial Appeal.

Along with the fatalities, 13 others were shot at the grocery store in a suburb of Memphis.

Police were alerted to an active shooter at 1:30 p.m. They arrived four minutes later and began to clear the store by each aisle and room. Customers and employees were found hiding in freezer and offices.

There were 44 employees and an unknown number of customers at the store.

The gunman was found dead by a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
