Calipsa Masterclass Brings Together Top Video Surveillance Professionals

Learn and share knowledge with hundreds of video surveillance professionals from around the world during the third annual Calipsa Masterclass on Nov. 10, 2021. The free, virtual half-day event includes 12 interactive workshops, including several in Spanish, focusing on the role of artificial intelligence in video verification, event-driven analytics and cloud-based video services. Also on the agenda is the first look at results of the 2021 Calipsa Video Monitoring Survey, with worldwide industry professionals identifying trends to watch in 2022.

An example of the presentations and speakers includes “Using AI in Video Verification,” with Phil Bance, loss prevention manager at Boots UK; Chris Daley, director of security for Bucks County Pa.; Jeff Jerdonek, director of security for Ferrous Processing and Trading; and Omar Abu-Rish, CPP, international security manager for one of the world’s largest media companies.

A speed networking session will match attendees on a one-to-one basis, helping them engage with their industry peers. Also on the agenda are presentations of the recently introduced Calipsa Pro Analytics, a four-tier, cloud-based software platform offering advanced analytics including real-time alerts, camera health checks, object tracking and forensic video analysis.

“We’re excited to present top industry experts to share their knowledge with video monitoring and surveillance professionals and CCTV installers,” said Rashid Khan, CEO and co-founder, Calipsa. “We welcome anyone in the industry to join us for any or all of the sessions.”

The Calipsa Masterclass begins at 9 a.m. ET (6 a.m. PT) Nov. 10.
