Netwatch North America Integrates with Eagle Eye Networks to Expand Proactive Video Monitoring Services

Netwatch North America, the leader in proactive video monitoring solutions, today announced a premiere partnership with Eagle Eye Networks to integrate the Eagle Eye Cloud VMS (video management system) with Netwatch’s proactive video monitoring service. The technology collaboration combines cloud-based video and audio monitoring initiatives with artificial intelligence (AI) technology, such as AI-filtered alerts, that reduce false positive alarms and deliver the simplicity and performance modern organizations require.

The market for proactive security solutions is increasing exponentially as more organizations look to implement a proactive approach to risk management. According to Mordor Intelligence, the proactive security market is expected to reach $45.67 million by 2026, primarily due to the growing number of businesses opting for proactive security solutions over reactive technologies.

Netwatch Proactive Video Monitoring is now fully integrated with Eagle Eye, a cybersecure, cloud VMS for many security and business use cases, including loss prevention, workplace safety, security, business optimization, alarm management, and more. Netwatch PVM is a purpose-built platform designed to help stop crimes before they happen by using personalized audio voice downs that stop crime on 98 percent of occasions. Both Netwatch and Eagle Eye focus on serving businesses with common parameters such as those operating in high-risk environments with a need to lower liability, ensure compliance and reduce operational inefficiencies.

“The integration will improve security and efficiency for multi-site customers for whom false positive alarm reduction is critical to daily operations,” said Ken Francis, President of Eagle Eye Networks. “The Netwatch integration provides customers with expanded functionality, to include live-audio voice downs and artificial intelligence-filtered alerts. Intelligent alerts distinguish between actionable and non-actionable events.”

“The next generation of video surveillance solutions, such as video surveillance-as-a-service and PVM, play a crucial role in providing organizations with the ability to optimize security, reduce loss, and improve operational efficiencies at scale,” said Justin Wilmas, President, Netwatch North America. “We are thrilled to join forces with Eagle Eye in our mission to provide superior video capture and analysis and support risk mitigation efforts for our growing customer base.”

The integrated solution will be available for general release in early 2023.

In the world of IT, insider threats are on a steep upward trajectory. The cost of these threats - including negligent and malicious employees that may steal authorized users’ credentials, rose from $8.3 million in 2018 to $16.2 million in 2023. Insider threats towards physical infrastructures often bleed into the realm of cybersecurity; for instance, consider an unauthorized user breaching a physical data center and plugging in a laptop to download and steal sensitive digital information. • Enhanced Situation Awareness

Did someone break into the building? Maybe it is just an employee pulling an all-nighter. Or is it an actual perpetrator? Audio analytics, available in many AI-enabled cameras, can add context to what operators see on the screen, helping them validate assumptions. If a glass-break detection alert is received moments before seeing a person on camera, the added situational awareness makes the event more actionable. Read Now

  • Transformative Advances

Over the past decade, machine learning has enabled transformative advances in physical security technology. We have seen some amazing progress in using machine learning algorithms to train computers to assess and improve computational processes. Although such tools are helpful for security and operations, machines are still far from being capable of thinking or acting like humans. They do, however, offer unique opportunities for teams to enhance security and productivity. Read Now
