iluminar Inc. Joins System Surveyor Manufacturer Partner Program

iluminar Inc. has announced joining System Surveyor as a manufacturer partner. iluminar’s participation in System Surveyor’s open-platform, SaaS-based graphical system design platform will make their product catalog and accessories available to thousands of users, from system integrators to end customers, streamlining system design, installation and maintenance.

With drag-and-drop simplicity, System Surveyor users can import devices and accessories from manufacturer partners on a digital floor plan, allowing users to design and specify manufacturer brand-specific products for procurement and implementation. Including iluminar’s best-in-class security lighting solutions to System Surveyor’s innovative tool ensures every system blueprint features total illumination coverage, for clear, consistently lit video footage and reliable system performance.

“We are thrilled to partner with System Surveyor and join their Manufacturer Partner Program,” said Eddie Reynolds, CEO and president of iluminar Inc. “Lighting plays a pivotal role in video capture and image clarity. By making our product catalogs available to end users with System Surveyor’s open platform resource, we will be able to provide superior end-to-end solutions for users who need it most, on top of expanding education on the critical role external illuminators play in security applications.”

Thousands of devices are designed into surveys each month using System Surveyor, allowing users to streamline the process, create a procurement-ready Bill of Materials and save time. Because of its partnerships with security manufacturers like Hanwha Techwin, Digital Watchdog and iluminar Inc., System Surveyor is as a household industry solution, helping integrators; partners and end customers specify the right solutions for their systems.

“We are excited to add iluminar to our Manufacturer Partner Program and make their products and element profiles available to our community,” said Maureen Carlson, vice president of Growth for System Surveyor. “Their products complement other manufacturers that are available through System Surveyor’s open platform, allowing our customers to intelligently design more end-to-end systems and solutions.”

The addition of infrared and white light illuminators from iluminar represents an important step forward for System Surveyor. Whether for license plate recognition or video surveillance applications, including industry-trusted illuminator solutions in security systems of every shape and size ensures effective surveillance performance, regardless of compromising environmental conditions. Just as the human eye relies on the presence of an adequate light source to see, security cameras must have proper illumination to capture high-quality images and video.
