Vicon Welcomes Nick Santini as Director of Operations

With more than 20 years of operational leadership, Nick Santini brings a robust mix of knowledge and tactics that will assist him in tackling this new role. The experience Nick has held in previous roles, such as logistics manager, director of operations, vice president of operations strategy, and several other distinguishable positions, set him up perfectly to master this new role.

In his new position, Santini will help cross-functionally lead the center of Vicon’s service repair teams, and responsible for back-end operations, such as order fulfillment, inventory management and global supply chain. His efforts will be fundamental in improving our product lines, which supply users with cutting-edge technology, solving many of today's problems in the security industry.

"I am extremely excited to join Vicon as the director of operations," Santini said. "While I have several milestones I am looking to achieve, I will initially be focusing my efforts on overall operational efficiency to help our programs achieve optimal results. Beyond this, I look forward to working with Shane Compton, COO, and supporting my team in developing efforts to make our daily processes more streamlined."

Snap One has announced its popular Luma x20 family of surveillance products now offers even greater security and privacy for home and business owners across the globe by giving them full control over integrators’ system access to view live and recorded video. According to Snap One Product Manager Derek Webb, the new “customer handoff” feature provides enhanced user control after initial installation, allowing the owners to have total privacy while also making it easy to reinstate integrator access when maintenance or assistance is required. This new feature is now available to all Luma x20 users globally. “The Luma x20 family of surveillance solutions provides excellent image and audio capture, and with the new customer handoff feature, it now offers absolute privacy for camera feeds and recordings,” Webb said. “With notifications and integrator access controlled through the powerful OvrC remote system management platform, it’s easy for integrators to give their clients full control of their footage and then to get temporary access from the client for any troubleshooting needs.”
