ASSA ABLOY Integrates Aperio® Wireless Technology with Verkada Command

ASSA ABLOY Opening Solutions completed the integration of their Aperio® wireless lock technology with Verkada’s Command cloud-based management platform, delivering a fully integrated hardware and software solution that strengthens safety while simplifying management and lowering total cost of ownership.

With the extensive locking hardware options available from ASSA ABLOY Group brands, the Aperio integration significantly expands the range of applications that can be managed by Verkada’s Command Access Control solution. Aperio is a global wireless solution that uses wireless communication (IEEE 802.15.4) between the lock and an Aperio hub to provide real-time communication to the access control system, simplifying installation and reducing costs.

“Verkada’s integration with ASSA ABLOY brings the simplicity and scale of our cloud-based physical security platform to even more applications,” said Brandon Davito, vice president of product at Verkada. “Aperio offers Verkada customåers more flexibility than ever before for expanding their access control footprint.”

Scalable to accommodate tens, hundreds, or thousands of devices, Verkada Command aggregates data across the entire organization into a centralized dashboard, providing users with complete visibility across devices and sites so that teams can respond to incidents quickly and effectively. Users can securely access Verkada Command from any browser or device or through Verkada’s top–rated mobile app (available on iOS and Android).

“Verkada’s Command platform makes access control easy, accessible, and scalable,” stated Angelo Faenza, head of U.S. Digital Access Solutions, ASSA ABLOY Opening Solutions Americas. “Paired with our Aperio technology, enhancing security, convenience, and accountability throughout any facility is even easier.”
