Datakrypto Appoints Former Cisco Vice President

New leadership aims to accelerate global enterprise adoption of confidential AI infrastructure through strategic partnerships and sales growth.

Datakrypto has appointed Paolo Campoli as senior vice president and chief growth officer to lead the company’s global sales and partnership initiatives.

Campoli, a former vice president at Cisco, joins the encrypted AI infrastructure firm as it seeks to scale its confidential AI solutions across regulated industries. He will oversee global growth strategy and go-to-market initiatives involving AI platform providers, systems integrators and managed service providers.

Ravi Srivatsav, CEO of Datakrypto, said Campoli’s expertise in digital infrastructure and ecosystem development arrives as the market faces increasing demands for secure AI environments.

"The market is realizing that without confidentiality, AI is not enterprise-ready," Srivatsav said. "Paolo’s technical roots and go-to-market expertise are a match for our mission: building the foundational encryption layer for the AI-native enterprise."

During his tenure at Cisco, Campoli served as the global head of the service provider segment. He led go-to-market strategies for large-scale transformations involving carriers, hyperscalers and cloud providers. He also previously served as the chief technology officer of the service provider segment in Europe, the Middle East, Africa and Russia.

Luigi Caramico, founder and CTO of Datakrypto, said Campoli’s leadership will be instrumental as the company expands its efforts to help enterprises deploy AI securely at scale.

Campoli noted that data security concerns currently hinder enterprise AI adoption.
"I joined Datakrypto because this is addressing the elephant in the room with AI: running encrypted data in encrypted models, protecting user information and model IP," Campoli said.

Campoli holds a doctorate in electronics and telecommunications from the Polytechnic University of Milan. He has previously advised technology providers and infrastructure operators on secure digital transformation.

Datakrypto executives will attend the RSA Conference in San Francisco later this month to discuss the advancement of secure AI adoption with industry leaders and partners.
