Wesco Debuts Managed Services Suite for Security Integrators

New software-enabled tools aim to optimize asset lifecycles, strengthen workplace safety compliance and streamline building operations.

Wesco International has launched a new suite of managed services designed to help organizations optimize technology assets, strengthen workplace safety programs and improve facility performance through data and expert support.

The company is showcasing the new service and technology offerings at ISC West. The suite is intended to assist integrator partners in scaling faster while helping end-users manage the increasing complexity of connected environments.

"By combining software, operational expertise and converging technologies across all categories of connected devices, our suite of managed services unlock performance, enhance safety and manage organizations’ facilities and assets," said Tara Dunning, vice president of converging technology for Wesco’s Communications & Security Solutions (CSS) business.

The launch features three primary pillars of service:

  • Intelligent Asset Management This offering centralizes data, including model details, location, warranty status and service requirements. The system aims to reduce the total cost of ownership by up to 30% through streamlined lifecycle planning. An integrated mobile application for iOS and Android allows users to scan equipment to track repairs and installation.
  • Intelligent Safety Services This segment combines field safety expertise with digital platforms to bolster compliance. The services provide support for fall protection, gas detection, hazard communications and safety inspections. Through a connected safety platform, customers receive automated documentation, real-time alerts and digital inspection management.
  • Intelligent Facility Services As buildings incorporate more IoT systems, this service helps operators simplify data collection to enhance uptime and energy management. The service is powered by the entroCIM platform, which aggregates data from IT, OT, sensors and third-party software into a single interface.

"As enterprise operations become more digitized, connected and complex, Wesco is investing and expanding its service capabilities globally to support integrators and end users of all sizes," said Dirk Naylor, executive vice president and general manager for Wesco’s CSS business.

Wesco’s global services organization currently includes approximately 1,100 technical professionals operating in 30 countries.
