TMT Insights Appoints New Executive Leadership Team

The media consultancy expands its commercial and engineering ranks to drive global growth and technological innovation.

TMT Insights has announced a series of strategic leadership appointments aimed at accelerating the company's expansion into adjacent markets and strengthening its position within the media and entertainment sector.

The firm is expanding its commercial leadership to drive revenue and partnership opportunities. Ian McPherson joins as head of business development to lead partnership strategies and go-to-market expansion. McPherson previously served as the lead for global business development strategy for media and entertainment at Amazon Web Services.

Joining the commercial team is Manish Bahl, who will serve as head of strategic accounts for the Americas. Bahl brings two decades of experience from leadership roles at Amagi and Endeavor Streaming, focusing on scaling global streaming operations and executive client engagement.

In addition to commercial growth, TMT Insights is restructuring its technical leadership to meet increasing industry demand. Brett Beers, who has led the company’s delivery engineering since its inception, has been named chief architect and innovation officer. Beers will oversee the technical vision for the company’s core offerings, including Polaris and Focus, while spearheading initiatives in emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence.

Dan Lloyd joins the organization as senior vice president of delivery engineering. Lloyd, who has held leadership positions at Pluto TV and Paramount, will manage the global engineering organization with a focus on scalability and platform development.

These appointments are intended to bolster the company’s ability to execute digital transformations across the media, sports, gaming, and advertising landscapes.

Snap One has announced its popular Luma x20 family of surveillance products now offers even greater security and privacy for home and business owners across the globe by giving them full control over integrators’ system access to view live and recorded video. According to Snap One Product Manager Derek Webb, the new “customer handoff” feature provides enhanced user control after initial installation, allowing the owners to have total privacy while also making it easy to reinstate integrator access when maintenance or assistance is required. This new feature is now available to all Luma x20 users globally. “The Luma x20 family of surveillance solutions provides excellent image and audio capture, and with the new customer handoff feature, it now offers absolute privacy for camera feeds and recordings,” Webb said. “With notifications and integrator access controlled through the powerful OvrC remote system management platform, it’s easy for integrators to give their clients full control of their footage and then to get temporary access from the client for any troubleshooting needs.”
