RapidFire Safety and Security Acquires Stratex Integrated Solutions

The acquisition expands the company’s Los Angeles footprint and adds specialized fire and electronic security capabilities to its regional portfolio.

Marking the company’s 11th acquisition in California and 23rd overall since 2022, RapidFire Safety & Security has just announced its acquisition of Stratex Integrated Solutions. The move is intended to strengthen the firm’s service capabilities and physical presence within the Greater Los Angeles commercial market.

Established in 2005, Stratex specializes in the installation and modernization of video surveillance, access control, intrusion alarms and fire life safety systems. The company serves a variety of commercial facilities, providing both standalone security components and fully integrated systems.

The deal follows another recent expansion for the provider, which recently acquired ACT Low Voltage to bolster its presence in the Western United States. Under the new ownership, Stratex will continue to provide local support to its existing client base while gaining access to RapidFire’s regional resources.

Company leadership noted that the integration of the Stratex team adds immediate capacity to their Southern California operations. The acquisition allows the provider to offer a more comprehensive suite of fire protection and electronic security solutions managed by a single regional entity.

Stratex founders indicated the move was designed to ensure a seamless transition for current employees and customers while providing the backing of a larger corporate infrastructure. Legal counsel for the transaction was provided by Buchanan, Ingersoll & Rooney.
