Registration Opens for 2026 OPSTech Conference

The Monitoring Association launches registration for its late-summer operations and technology event in Dallas.

Professional monitoring and security leaders can now secure their spots for an interactive industry gathering scheduled for later this year.

The Monitoring Association announced that registration is officially open for its annual OPSTech Conference, which will take place from Aug. 31 to Sept. 2 in Dallas. The event serves as a central meeting point for operations managers, technology innovators and security solutions providers across the monitoring ecosystem.

Unlike standard corporate conventions, this gathering prioritizes peer-to-peer engagement and practical, collaborative problem-solving. Attendees will participate in open dialogues and working sessions designed to address real-world operational challenges, sharing strategies to streamline modern monitoring centers.

Facilitated discussions this year will focus heavily on emerging technologies, including artificial intelligence, automation, video monitoring, operational efficiency and leadership.

A central highlight of the three-day program is an exclusive, firsthand tour of a local operations hub. This year, COPS Monitoring will host attendees at its Lewisville facility to demonstrate the infrastructure behind large-scale, redundant wholesale alarm monitoring.

Organizers plan to release the full program schedule, including specific session topics and guest speakers, later this summer. Reduced early-bird registration rates are available for association members who sign up before mid-July.

Snap One has announced its popular Luma x20 family of surveillance products now offers even greater security and privacy for home and business owners across the globe by giving them full control over integrators’ system access to view live and recorded video. According to Snap One Product Manager Derek Webb, the new “customer handoff” feature provides enhanced user control after initial installation, allowing the owners to have total privacy while also making it easy to reinstate integrator access when maintenance or assistance is required. This new feature is now available to all Luma x20 users globally. “The Luma x20 family of surveillance solutions provides excellent image and audio capture, and with the new customer handoff feature, it now offers absolute privacy for camera feeds and recordings,” Webb said. “With notifications and integrator access controlled through the powerful OvrC remote system management platform, it’s easy for integrators to give their clients full control of their footage and then to get temporary access from the client for any troubleshooting needs.”
