Salient Systems Names Steve Bell Head of Global Sales

The veteran technology executive will oversee enterprise growth and integrator relationships.

Salient Systems has appointed Steve Bell as executive vice president of sales to oversee the company’s global sales division.

Bell, who has more than 25 years of technology sales and leadership experience, will manage direct relationships with integrators and end users while expanding the company's footprint in the enterprise market.

Prior to joining the enterprise video management software provider, Bell held several high-level positions within the tech sector. He recently served as vice president of North America sales at CSC Digital Brand Services and chief revenue officer at Workspot. From 2019 to 2023, he was the senior vice president of North America sales at IGEL Technology, where he assisted in transitioning the company from hardware sales to software deployment.

Bell also held sales leadership roles at Agari, AppSense and Kyriba, and spent 10 years at Fiberlink Communications leading up to its acquisition by IBM. He holds a Bachelor of Science in computer science from SUNY Brockport.

In his new role, Bell will collaborate with Salient’s executive team and partner network to drive revenue across sectors including critical infrastructure, transportation, logistics, retail and education.
