Optiv Names Sean Forkan Chief Revenue Officer

Cybersecurity firm Optiv hires 30-year tech veteran Sean Forkan to lead its global revenue organization and go-to-market strategy.

Cybersecurity company Optiv announced the appointment of Sean Forkan as its new chief revenue officer.

Forkan will manage the company’s global revenue organization and oversee go-to-market strategy. The role focuses on expanding client relationships, driving sales growth and capitalizing on new market opportunities across Optiv’s partner ecosystem.

Forkan brings more than 30 years of technology industry experience to the position. He has previously held executive sales and revenue leadership roles across the software, cybersecurity, hardware and consulting sectors.

Before joining Optiv, Forkan served as chief revenue officer at Black Duck Software. His career history also includes senior leadership positions at companies such as VMware, Broadcom, Cisco, Oracle, Symantec and EY.

In his new role, Forkan will focus on scaling global sales operations and navigating market changes driven by emerging technology and artificial intelligence.
