Mastercard Security Chief Joins Bloo Advisory Board

Former Secret Service leader Michael H. Lashlee will advise the cybersecurity firm on enterprise security strategy and global expansion.

Cybersecurity firm Bloo appointed Mastercard Chief Security Officer Michael H. Lashlee to its Advisory Board to guide its enterprise security strategy and global expansion.

Lashlee will advise company leadership on the requirements of large, regulated organizations as Bloo builds out telemetry infrastructure for security operations and artificial intelligence integration.

Before joining Mastercard in 2016, Lashlee served 25 years with the U.S. Secret Service as a special agent and supervisor. His tenure included work on protective details for former presidents, supervision of the Counter Assault Team and leadership of the Forensic Services and Technical Security divisions.

The appointment comes as enterprise security teams reevaluate data retention practices. Traditional security management often filters or deletes machine log data to minimize infrastructure and licensing expenses, creating gaps that limit artificial intelligence systems from analyzing past activity.

Bloo develops data architecture intended to store long-term, high-fidelity telemetry across networks, infrastructure, endpoints and identity systems to support AI-driven incident investigations.
