End-to-end solution
Honeywell introduced its line of Global System for Mobile Communications technology products that use dual and triple communication paths to ensure highly reliable alarm transmission and delivery. This end-to-end solution, in combination with the AlarmNet communications network backbone, will help dealers transition customers to the latest digital technology as current radios that use analog advanced mobile phone service networks are phased out. The dual-path technology (7845 GSM) uses GPRS as the primary communication path with Short Message Service as the backup communication path.
